Our Team

Bethany has been dancing for over 20 years and has been teaching since she was 12. Bethany began dance training at her local dance school "Ballet Central" in 2000. She then trained at the Victorian Ballet School, specialising in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary dance styles.

In 2008, she moved to "The Ballet Centre" and began their assistant and emergency teacher program. In 2011 she began dancing with the Melbourne Dance Theatre - School Of Excellence. Bethany has trained under the Loral Martyn System of Dance and has completed a Senior Level 2 training in the Vaganava method. She is also actively involved with musical theatre in Victoria, in both performance and choreography.

Bethany is currently a member of the teaching staff for Primary Dance Program and, She holds her certification in Progressing Ballet Technique. Bethany is also accredited in The Loral Martyn System of Dance. Bethany is working with The Movement and Dance Education Centre to continue the work and development of dance education in Australia.

Bethany is a mum of 2, a little lady and a little man and is loving every minute of it. This has given her a new perspective and increased her desire to develop a fun and safe dance program for all children to enjoy.

James' love for movement started with Tennis and Distance Running, Having been involved with sport and movement from a young age, James took his love for all things high energy and decided to turn it into his career.

James recognised the close connections between sport and dance. Particularly the need for safe development of movement. He has since started on a path to learn all he can about the art form of dance.

James holds a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology, Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, Certificate IV in Small Business. As Co-Director of The Dance@ Program, James uses his knowledge and skills to assist in curriculum development and administrative functions.

As the father of a little girl and a little man, James has become even more passionate about providing a fun and safe dance program that fosters the opportunity for young kids to thrive.
